ootp 13 fictional quick start download ??

Once again I can't use the add ons link in the game itself as I get the "addon_dialog" error....god I wish this would be fixed or should I say I wish I knew how to make it work if the error is on my end. I've tried disabling my antivirus and still same thing. Better yet some of the downloads in there work fine...go figure.
Anyway does anybody know where else I could download this from, as it seems like a somewhat daunting task to set one up myself at my early stage of the game yet ? I checked on I guess it's padre's site and didn't see it...come to think of it I only checked under "templates" I suppose I should check under the other headings also.

Some people seem to be encountering this error. I believe it's a problem with a lack of proper port forwarding on their routers or perhaps Windows or an anti-virus program blocking access.

You can download the file manually by following this link to the mod as hosted on the new OOTPMods.com website.

thanks for the reply Charlie, but I'm referring to the ootp 13 fictional quick start(the one that was started in 90 i think and simmed ahead 22 years then deleted the history. as stated in the thread title

btw If what your saying in regards to the error message...well why then can I download some files from the add ons in game but not others ?

We don't know. But a number of users have had the same problem. They're able to get some of the files to work but not others. Yet they're all hosted on the same server. It's baffling.

My only other guess is that the sizes of the files are causing an issue. The All-In-One is the biggest, so maybe some people's connections are blocking files of that size from being downloaded. But your guess is as good as mine right now.

Ok, I sure hope someone can figure it out.

I just found it and was coming back here to link to it in case anybody else was looking to download it away from add on central in the game.

ok now I'm confused that link you provided is 10mb bigger than the one I found. ughhh
