Playing the same saved game on both iPhone & iPad
Apologies if this has already been included on a thread ....
Is it possible to play the same saved game on an iPad AND an iPhone i.e. Play on the iPad .. save ... resume the game on the iPhone where it was saved .. save .. pick up the game on the iPad from when it was saved on the iPhone .. etc etc etc Cheers DVDDD |

I don't believe such a method is possible yet. You CAN do something like that through a PC/Mac running iTunes (by transferring the save to/from each device), and you can even do it wirelessly if you configured iTunes that way. But nothing as seamless as I think you're trying to describe.
It would eventually happen under iCloud, but there are supposedly reasons why Apple won't allow it (something to do with save file size, I recall). |

No, can't do it automatically and seamlessly like you describe, which would be great.
If you have iExplorer, you can shuttle your saved games back and forth between devices, but it would probably be more of a pain than it's worth. I think the issue holding up the implementation of this kind of save game model is that the game folders are pretty big, and since your iOS cloud allotment (from Apple) is pretty small, you might quickly run out of storage space. Other apps do allow for shared saved resources across devices, so in theory it can be done. The implementation of it might be a bit of a headache for Sebastian though. |
