Logo Requests

Could someone please merge these two logos so that it's similar to Indiana or LA Tech's logo where the team logo is on top of the state logo. Then if you could change the main color from purple to 024570. I would like the purple version and the aqua 024570 version so that I can use the one that shows up best in the game. I would also like the aqua version without the state layer Thanks so much!

Blend the two images like that. Is it just a cardinal-state-cardinal sandwich, with part of the top cardinal erased outside of New York's borders?

I can only explain how to do it in Photoshop.

The steps listed are shown in the same order as the attached pics.

Step 1: Take the NY State image and put the Cardinal layer over it.

Step 2: Then you 'mask' the cardinal onto the State. In Photoshop you do the mask by selecting the Cardinal layer and hitting Ctrl-G.

Step 3: Then copy the cardinal layer and unmask it and move it below the NY State layer (Shift-Ctrl-G to unmask or just drag the layer to the bottm. Sometimes I have trouble with being able to move layers 'off of the masking').

Step 4: Select the bottom layer, then Ctrl Click the NY State layer. This will create a selection boundry. I then expand that selection boundry by going to SELECT, MODIFY and EXPAND and I do 3 pixels. With the expanded Selection Boundry, hit DELETE.

Gern thanks so much. I was thinking that NY would be in black and maybe no circle around the cardinal? Thank you for working on this.

Can you do these again with one aqua and one purple state like the original. I think those might look better than the black state. What do you think?
