Starting my first franchise. Help!!!!

Ok so I am starting my first franchise and was overwhelmed. I am using the Orioles as they are now and have no idea where I need to start. I want to play with my budget a bit to sign free agents and at the same time want to reasonable with it. How can I go about this? Any idea a reasonable budget to sign free agents and hire personel?

Also in V12 there was a screen that would tell you if players where ready for the level they are at...Is this still in the game, because I couldn't find it?

Also any advice to get started is greatly appreciated. I understand I have to play with it a bit to figure it out on my own but I'm looking for some pros on here that can guide me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Sorry this message doesn't have great detail, but I'm at work sending from my phone.

Well your available funds are slim. If you can grab Oswalt-SP that may help. Otherwise you could sell, and make a nice profit planning for the future. Baltimore doesn't have a good starting point so the future seems the way to go with what you're starting with. Good luck!

Bid your time, spend money on scouting, You likely will have god draft picks for a couple of seasons, use them wisely.

Also, the name of the game is pitching.
