Spring Training
OK i am the commish of a league and I neeed some info. How should i go about placing f/a offers? 1st come 1st serve or highest offers? How do I enable srping training? And say it says the Expos have 13 mill to spend on f/a this yr. Is that 13 million/yr.. say J.Dough 3yrs 6.0 mill 2/yr. sign him and then it will be down to 11 million..Or is it sign j.dough to a 2 yr 13 mill dollar contract and that is it for my f/a ..Cause in my league the devil rays have 24 mill to spend in f/a and they offered someone a 5 yr 60.0 mill/contract. 12/yr and it says they dont have enough money. Also can you tell me the little things. LIke how do i set a league minumum? etc. thanks..

Ok, if you try to sign a player to a $60 million contract over 5 years ($12 million per year) then you should type in $12 million as your money offer and 5 years for your length.
The computer probably rejected you because it thought you were going to offer the player a $300 million contract over 5 years. |

Spring training won't happen the first year if that is what you are worried about. In the second year it will come up after the amateur draft. You don't have to set anything for that.
Not sure what you mean by league minimum but if you mean can you set a minimum amount for all contracts there is no way I know of currently other than manually editting each guy. Oh and for placing F/A offers I am not sure how all leagues do it but in my league they are placed in the order the commish receives the emails. |

No offense here, but I'd seriously try getting in a few leagues for a few seasons before trying to run a league. It's got to be hard to run things when you're not sure of what you're doing.

I would have to agree with phesta (which is quite rare
) on this one. You seem to be having a lot of difficulties that could be avoided by getting some experience first.
