Can new facegen types be added?

I'm wanting to create a fictional league with a few polynesian players. However they are set as Caucasian for facial type, and when setting to the other types in the game it just doesn't look right.

Is there anyway to add facial types into the game and if so how?

Anyone? I'm really keen to know if different face types can be loaded apart from the standard ones in the game, and if so where do we get them from.

Not really sure what you mean, but you could download the free Facegen Modeler and play around with making faces that look "Polynesian" to you.

Thanks, does that mean I can just create/load specific photos for individual players, or can I actually make a 'Facial type' (as used by the game) so that face-gen makes many faces in game based on the model I put in?

you can create facegen pics by using a program called facegen modeller, by using real photos but only make one by one....you can create fictional faces in game and change them individually to african,asian,east indian,caucasian or hispanic.you would need to do a test to see if people are assigned properlly.i did try with some people in game and out of 5 guys that are mexican they all looked mexican to me.

I think you're restricted to the in-game facial types, so you would have to make individual photos. However, if you make a few you like with the Modeler, there's a step where you can make several "copies" of them that will have some variations.
