Somethings off with the historical modifiers

Playing a fictional/historic league letting the game automatically modify based on real life league totals. Fictional players. Started in 1914. Nothing in particular stood out to me as being too off until 1987, when two players hit over 70 HRs and another hit over 60. Looked at the HR modifier, its 1.9! Any thoughts?

HRs were up 20-25% from 1986 to 1987.

When did the 'steroid era' actually start? I don't think you're that far off.

The game has it as 1995-2005 but Jose was doping up well before that

I have noticed the mods can be off somewhat when you click autocalc before the first day of the season usually it doesn't happen when the game autocalcs on day 1 but consider I have seen it in preseason before it could happen. Have tried pressing the autocalc button. At one time my version of 12 had a messed autocalc and the game would hang when I pressed autocalc. For some reason it was always 1872 that was FUBAR. I had to uninstall and reinstall to fix it.

Other than even when it is a little off I usually see it that bad assuming autocalc is working correctly. The only thing I can think of is if it autocalced before the active reduction from ST. I don't think it does this though. I would check your autocalc first and see if it is hanging when you do it manually. NB: I occasionally see this happen even after the reinstall but simming a few days seems to have it working again.
