tmbu has been around since the beginning of the 2004 calendar year and is entering it's 40th season shortly. This 24-team league was founded based on the premise of taking MLB rosters from the 2003 season and simming forward 20 years to the 2023 season and then disbanding the MLB teams and holding an inagural draft.

We have many active, long term owners and a solid commissioner who has been around OOTP for many years. If you are looking for a stable league that is rich in history, this is the league for you!

We are currently in the middle of reviewing our financial structure and are actively working to balance our league finances. As you can imagine, after 39 seasons of history, teams that have traditionally been title contenders have built up a competitive advantage in terms of their monetary standing. As a result, we are in the middle of discussing how to level the playing field to provide more of a challenge to these owners as well as ensure that the rebuilding process is appealing to all owners. As such, this is a great time to get into the league and build your prospective team into a contender.

The following teams are currently available:
North Shore
Vancouver
Saskatchewan
Milwaukee
Montreal
Savannah
Memphis
Denver

The tmbu is an OOTP12 talent-only league, scouts are turned on and coaches are turned off - we sim Mon, Wed, Friday - 10 games per sim and have the amateur draft on June 1st. All ratings are on a scale of 0-100.

If this sounds like an interesting format to you, please send me a PM detailing your OOTP history and why this league appeals to you. We are looking to fill up the league quickly to finalize our structure for the 2062 season.

If you're looking for a league, or just thinking of looking, then give tmbu a look.

Tom's a great commish and there's a strong core of owners and with the league moving to ootp12 and looking at options to balance out the finances it's a good time to come aboard and have an impact in refreshing a league that's been strong through 39 seasons.

The teams available are varied and provide challenges varying from a team that won it a season ago, through teams that have reached the playoffs in the recent history, or come close, down to teams that have struggled for a little while.

No writing requirements, we're just looking for interested and committed owners.

tMBU was the first (and only) on-line league I joined. I took over a neglected, small market team 6 seasons ago and through some good luck with draft picks and development of young players, have been able to make the team competitive. A great league, well run, with a strong core of committed owners who were very helpful to a first time on-line player.

If you're an OOTP veteran, you'll appreciate the history of this league and the opportunity to rebuild if you like that or come in with a more established team.

If you are new, like I was, a great league to learn the ins and outs. I wasn't sure that on-line was the thing for me. After 6 seasons, I'm hooked.

We are officially expanding by 4 teams and, as such, will need 2 more GM's. I won't know which teams are going to be available, but we are assuming that the expansion teams will be taken by current owners. We are full and just starting to put together a waiting list - we had a lot of turnover this year and I while I hope it isn't the case, with 10 new owners, odds are that they all won't last the year.
