Do games ever get rained out?

I've seen plenty of rain delays, but never a game called because of rain. Does it ever happen? If not, why not?

No, rainouts don't occur. I believe it was a mess to code the schedule for the rainout. This would be a nice feature to have in the game but is by no means a major feature to have in the game.

I agree. Rain delays can knock your starting pitcher out earlier than you would like (just like Verlander in this year's play-offs) but re-scheduling rainouts probably would be difficult to code ...

... and honestly, I don't need that, even when it would add to realism.
