ballpark factors
If I change the dimensions of a ballpark will anything be effected or do I have to actually change to coefficients? For instance, if I change my ballpark to have tiny dimensions will more home runs be hit there or are those numbers merely for show?

If you change dimensions it will not affect the home run rate. You will need to change the home run factor to change the home run rate. The home run distance is determined by the dimensions. It is funny to see someone set their dimension to 500 ft and all that it accomplishes is to see a lot of 500+ feet homers.

I think changing the dimensions just effect how far a hr is hit and not how many.

Ballpark dimensions are purely cosmetic! It's the ballpark factors that actually influence the game engine. That is, making a ballpark with a 500-foot center field won't make it any harder to hit home runs to center if the home run factors are still 1.000.
