Expansion Draft #@#$^

I just bought OOPT 12 and was trying to do a 2 team expansion using the League Expansion Wizard...set team names etc...ticked schedule expansion draft....and hit expand league....I take control of one of the teams and....the #$#@#$% expansion draft is set for AFTER the start of the season.

Under ML>Expansion draft when I click on "continue draft" it says the draft does not take place today!

I advance one day and same story....advance another day and still no draft and now I have no players on the roster and of course I can't proceed past opening day because I have no players!

In OOPT 11 I did the same thing and it allowed me to do the expansion draft first...then start the season. Easy peasy...

What do I need to do to get this working? I have looked for a date setting but can't find anything...nothing comes up under search so I presume everyone else but me knows how to do this

If you're in the ML quickstart, the game starts the day before Opening Day as I recall. When you set up an expansion draft, it sets the draft a couple days later from what I understand. I think this is because typically expansion happens sometime during the offseason or preseason, as opposed to between spring training and opening day.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to get the 2011 ML rosters in a game where you can do your expansion before the season starts. Hopefully someone else will.
