Some sort of error with ml history data

Does anyone know why when starting a new major league game the New York Yankees history is all messed up? For example, an inactive Baltimore Oriole franchise take credit for the Yankees 2009/2010 seasons and many Yankee championships aren't bolded out in the history section. Also, when you view the past championship winners tab in the history section these years are just blank with no winners. Anyone have any idea why this is and why it is specific to starting a new major league game only? (The history is correct when starting a historical game, all the way up to 2010). Surely it can't be too difficult to change?

it's a known bug that i don't know it's never fixed.
i've had it in every mlb quickstart from last years to.

put in a support ticket

Yeah I had this with mine too. I posted about it a while back. Seems strangem but I decided I could live with it. It's not part of my history with the league so I rarely look back at it anyway.

Strange that it has been present in multiple versions of the game when it would appear to be a simple thing to fix?
