OOTP 12 Update, Version 12.2.17 available!

Dear OOTP fans,

We’ve just released the latest update for OOTP 12, version number 12.2.17.

Update Information:
To update, you can either download the full game and simply install it over your existing OOTP 12 installation (no need for uninstallation or unlicense), or download and install the patch (PC only). Here are the download links:

No need to release the license before installation. No need to uninstall the current version. Just install on top of your current OOTP 12 installation and it will automatically update all the new files.

Important note: We have made a few fixes to the major league roster set. These changes only apply when you start a new major league game, though!

Here’s the list of fixes in version 12.2.17 compared to version 12.1.11:
- Tweaked budget & player contract demand calculation
- Added new baseball card templates
- Added search filter function to city list in nation editor
- Added a function to export the world data to XML
- Added an option to correctly display potential ratings that are lower than the actual ratings, instead of adjusting them to match the actual ratings. This is useful only for leagues without scouting enabled.
- Fixed first-year player draft major league contract demands
- Fixed arbitration-related contract issues
- Improved roster & trading AI
- Fixed several other bugs and cosmetic issues

I'll now go on vacation for about two to three weeks. After that, work will start on a big free update for OOTP 12 which will include new features and improve existing ones!

I downloaded the patch and started a sim with the financial tweaks before I left for work this morning. Can't wait to get home and see how it progresses.

Great job on getting the patch out.

Should I assume that the "Wrong Country" bug and the crash on creating international free agents bug were not quashed in this build? I love OOTP, but this is the first time in 25 years I haven't started the Continental League season by the MLB All Star break, and I can't until those things are fixed.

I can confirm that this new patch squashes a major bug I was having when adding templates to pre-existing games and crashing....very nice!!!!
