Recalc after 1 yr or 3 yrs? What is best?

When playing out games from year to year, is it best to recalculate player ratings on a 1 yr basis or 3 yr? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Depends on you, 1 yr = more highs and lows 3 yr = smoothed career

Most seem to use 1 yr for single season replays and 3 yr for career leagues but everyone is different and vice-versa works just as well albeit differently.
