OK, need a ? answered
I've played OOTP since version 9, but always with current ML or Historical real life players, never fictional.
So, I decided to try the fictional route, but I wanted it based off true players. I started in 1985, fictionalized the names of all players and erased their histories so I didn't know who each fictional name related to. Went through as drafted and fixed names that wouldn't have been appropriate for 1985. Now, I'm ready to go into the playoffs and the draft pool has been released. Lo and behold, it includes all real life players (didn't know it would do that). So, my question is ... is there a way to fictionalize the players in the draft pool without changing the names I already have for the players currently on rosters? I know you could go through and edit each individually, but dang, you'd be talking a lot of time (which I'm short of). Anyone know a way or have ideas? Thanks |

you could always just delete that draft class and create a new one.
also make sure the import histocial rookies is not checked |

Isn't there an option somewhere that you can turn off to where all of your draft classes are fictional players instead of actual players?

I thought of that ... however, I'd kind of like to keep the draft class and just substitute fictional names for the real names since that's the way the original league was set up and this draft class has some intriguing players in it (Magwire, Bonds, Maddux, etc.) ...
