Adding GMs via OOOL
I recently took over as Commish for one of my leagues, and I have a few players that are interested in joining. They've sent requests via OOOL, but in game, when I try to add them to the league, I get an error saying simply "Error: Could not add user to team."
I was going to reject the request and have him resend it, but I get an error that says "Error: Could not reject gm request." Has this happened to anyone else? |

It's my sense that eventually the OOOL is going to be great, among other things, for the smaller file size update.
However, in our testing with 12.2.17, it was just one problem after another, even though we had only a handful of teams in out test league. I cannot imagine using it yet with an actual league.

Yeah, I've read a couple of other posts in which people suggest not using OOOL for the time being.
My problem is that the league I am taking over has already started (we're about two months in) and we've been using OOOL. Is there a way to switch to non-OOOL once the league as already been created using it? |

If you are not using the Commish's OOOL account, then that would give you the problem you are seeing. Its not just as easy as just using your OOOL account and the Commish in game account. We asked for an improvement in this and Andreas has added the ability to add new OOOL accounts as the commish soon, but for now you'll have to use the original Commish's OOOL account to keep things going. Sorry for my slow reply on this one, I was traveling most of yesterday and didn't see this post.

Just to clarify my last post..
There is an OOOL account (what you use to sign in to the OOOL server from the main OOTP12 screen that shows you what leagues you are in/etc). There is an in-game GM or commish account. This is within the game file and handles who has access to what team in that file or who has commish access in that game file. Currently to commish an OOOL league, you have to be using the commish OOOL account -AND- have the COmmish in-game ability.

So, if I understand correctly, the only way I'd be able to Commish the league is to use the original Commish's OOOL account to log in? |

For now, that is correct. It was something that they were asked to change and is being put in for a new patch. (I have no idea when that would be though unfortunately). In the future, the old Commish could then set someone else up to commish the league.
