Financial Asst. Please

I started my team on 2011. Played for 4 seasons with no problems. Purchased 2012, (love it) but had a financial problem, at least I think. As I recall in 2011 my extensions and free agent $ would fluctuate from time to time and there were factors that played into that. However this season, I was sitting right around 15 mill. for both when shortly after a trade (I gave up Beckett and a 3.5 mill contract for 2 prospects both making 400K apiece) and around the patch download (likely not the culprit) I went from approx. 14+ mill in extensions money to 0. Not a gradual thing either. Anything you all can suggest, provide insight on etc.. would be greatly appreciated.
