Game crashing (OOTP 12 is not responding)

I had this problem for the past week and never had before with any previous games. My computer's battery tends to not charge so when i accidently hit out the charger while playing OOTP it shuts off, and i am thinking that could of been the cause. What i did was reinstalled the game, deleted my previous games and tried again but still am getting the same problem....

Does anyone have this problem, i need help so i can play again!

Depending on how big your OOTP file is (leagues, mods, etc) it could take a fair amount of time to load, especially on older computers. I have a 6 year old laptop that I try to load OOTP12 on and it takes about 5 minutes to start up. If your CPU is not strong that might be the issue.

Is there anything in particular that is causing the crash? (Is it crashing on opening, or is it after you load a league and try to open something?)

If you have accidentally corrupted your game installation, you want to be sure that you delete everything before you reinstall:
* first, a proper uninstall through your control panel.
* then delete the entire folder (it's worth saving your license, I think that will work)
* under your start menu do a search for any other place on your computer, the game may have installed files in folders named Out of the Park, etc.
I went through this a couple versions back, and this last part is what solved it.

EDIT: Grantdog's question is important. I am assuming you cannot get the game to start at all. If it is just one particular league that is messed up, that is totally different.
