Need more Home Runs

How can you change the league settings to increase the number of home runs? I've simmed three seasons and the home run leaders have only 20-25 home runs each year. I want the leaders to have at least 50-60.

What yr did you start in?
You can go to League Options & Rules - Strategy and change what you want.

After reading your link and checking the manual, I found the correct screen and changed the home run setting... and it worked... except that some players had 20+ homers after April... I dialed it back a bit and got the results I wanted... home run leaders had 45-50 homers for a year... one team hit 394 home runs in a 154 game season!

I like to play with historical players assigned to fictional teams. My friends used to play APBA baseball years ago. When I discovered OOTP, I re-entered each player to re-create our rosters. Each owner chosen their players from the all time greats and favorites of baseball history.

In OOTP, I imported each historical player in their first year in the majors and chose remaining years of their career for the import. When I get things working the way I want, we're going to play again. I want each owner to select at least 60-75 players and we'll put them on minor league teams to simulate over a period of years.

I started my game in 2006 and used the 2006 settings for the seasons. I've played four seasons so far. After ten years, want to post the league stats on the internet as a way to get the owners familiar with the level of detail in OOTP.
