H.F.P. Complete FaceGen Pack

Everyone -

The "H.F.P. Complete FaceGen Pack" is now available from Add-Ons Central. Over 18,000 FaceGen player images created by the Historical FaceGen Project, including all Hall of Famers and current players. These images change when players age, change moods, or change teams. Install this mod, then create your league. File is around 150 MB, so may take some time to download! Updated 06/22/11.

I'll add a link on my website as well in the next day or so...

If I install this mod will it update the images in my current league automatically?

If not, is there a way to make it do so?

I think one of these options will allow you to update the images.

When I go to the add on central I just get the re-install button. How do I get it to where the download button re-appears?

Is this 1 different from the HFP Gambo created 3 months ago?

That's what I get for re-using the filename of last years version of this mod.

To fix this, navigate to the \My Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 12\addons\downloads folder and delete the existing HistoricalFaceGens.tar file. Restart OOTP and you should now get the download button...

I followed your steps, and I'm still getting the re-install button. Any other suggestions?

Try this. Click on the name of the mod. In the upper right of the window you should now see information about the mod and a button labeled "Alternatively download via browser"

Does that work?

I'm not sure if you uploaded the wrong file or maybe I downloaded the wrong file, but I erased the old FG pack that I downloaded and installed the new one from the add on central and it is missing several players that the old pack had.

Ex. Mike Stanton, Logan Morrison, Mitch Moreland, etc.

Any ideas?

No ideas, as I just downloaded the file and I am seeing .fg files for all of the players you mentioned. Have you tried downloading and installing again?

I've downloaded/installed the all-in-one pack - first off, thanks for doing it!
The player pics seem to work, uniforms work. However, no team logo on the team's main page and it seems to randomize all of the minor league teams. Any suggestions?

They are in there so I think you have the wrong pack. In fact there are 3 Mike Stantons. It looks like you may be downloading an old version.

I'm new to the mods through the game - i have downloaded the file and found it in my addon folder - how/where do I need to move this to have it take effect in my current league/future leagues?

Love this idea - had wondered if something like this was available.

It goes in the FG_files folder. But if will be useless organized as you see in the image

So you will have to do this like that :

- copy the content of the Base set folder in the FG_files folder
- copy the content of the BSF Generic folder in the FG_files folder
- copy the content of the Consolidated folder in the FG_files folder
- copy the content of the CF Generic folder in the FG_files folder
- Remove all the period manually after the names with a middle name*

The database included in the game will search for a joe P_wood file to create an image, but it doesn't exist in the folder. What is in the folder is a joe P._wood file not the same thing and the game create a random image in those cases.

No idea if that will be fixed in a future release or not.

The newest version I sent in uses only the consolidated naming process which removes all the "." from the names and matches the default database and the the versions of the Spritze and Gambo coming out soon.
