Fictional leage started in '35, constant deadball era problem

Hi! As a newbie to OOTP (just started OOTP12), I'm having a problem with my fictional league I'm hoping someone can help me with. I started a 12 team fictional league in 1935 using mostly parks from the MLB2010 The Show ballpark set. I have financials set to no free agency/reserve clause.

I have the league set up to use pitchers with 4 man rotations, low reliever usage and low closer usage.

I've auto-simmed 20 years and stats look fair EXCEPT for home runs. I've been in a perpetual deadball era since the league began, with the highest number of homers hit by a player in a single season being 17.

How do I fix this? Are there global statistical numbers I have to adjust? If so, how? Do I need the league set to go by just ratings and not statistics?

Thanks!
Steve
