Possible bug in AI handling of waiver wire and DL

I imported a 2010 MLB quickstart league that I had started in OOTP 11 and played one season. It is now Spring Training 2011 and I noticed what I think may be a bug in AI transactions. Bobby Seay a MR for the Cardinals was injured in the first Spring Training game on March 1st. The next day, they put him on the DL AND DFA'd him. He passed through waivers and then was placed back on the active roster (though he is still out for 2 to 3 weeks with elbow soreness).

I think this may have happened because they signed a free agent MR Dan Runzler on the same day they put him on the DL. They needed to free up a roster spot for Runzler and the AI chose Bobby Seay as the player to take off the 40 man. No problem there, but when he cleared waivers they put him back on the 40 man and DFA'd a different MR, Fernando Salas, which is kind of strange. I guess I should advance to the next day and see if they stick Seay back on the DL.
