Pitching/Hitter roster screens

Is this ever going to be fixed?

Somehow it seems worse than last year. Every time I click on the rotation or line-up screens I need to click again to get rid of hitters(on pitchers screen) or pitchers on line-up screens. Also it continually shows illogical info on the screens. Going to the pitchers screen to set rotations or pen assignments should NEVER default to batting info or ratings. In the rare cases where I might want to see how my pitchers hit I can change it, but not 2 of 3 times I visit the screen.

Same with going to the screen to set my line-ups and reserves. Why would I ever want to see pitcher ratings or stats? EVER?

Of course it happens all over the place. On FA or waiver screens, other lists of players. If the screen is showing stats and I set filter to only pitchers it should change to pitching stats. If I'm looking at ratings it should change to pitcher ratings.

Have to agree. As much as I love this game, this becomes a major annoyance for me. Not sure why it can't be fixed. I think the game tries to remember your "last setting" when viewing ratings, stats, etc., but it doesn't seem consistent. And I agree, there are certain screens (lineup, rotations, etc.) that should ignore whatever you were viewing on your last screen and just default to something that makes sense for that screen. I feel like it's been like this ever since OOTP8.

I also noticed that the occasionaly disappearing "Filter" or "Position" button is still happening.

You guys need more misery in your life if this has become a major annoyance to you.....

I agree it isn't ideal, but it doesn't even register on my list of daily annoyances....

I would hope that everyone reads the threads in the context in which they're written. We're talking about a game, not our faily lives, jobs, families, etc.

In the context of the game it's an annoyance because it has been happening for multiple versions, has been reported and nothing has been done to fix it.

No, but it's a bit tedious and seemingly random which info is displayed.

Not to mention the "disappearing button" bug is still there, although it's rarer than before.

Shall I visit every thread begging for items that don't interest me and post negative reactions just to satisfy my own self worth?

This is something that annoys me with the game. It's been reported for multiple versions. I've not seen Markus or any programmer with OOTP reply that this is something that can't be fixed for some reason.

A lot of people here discuss items that bother them This ine is a nuisance to me when I play the game. There are other things people have asked for and gotten that were only a matter of clicking another button or doublechecking what they'd done.

I believe in v11 (don't have either in front of me), it seemed that this behaviour always occurs if you select the different screens using the 'team dropdown menu', but doesn't occur (or much less often) if you use the tabs at the top of the main section of the screen. So, go to the team home page via the dropdown menu (or clicking your team name on the top left portion of the calendar bar), then access the pitching/lineup screens using the tabs rather than the menu.

Agree 100%. This should not be a difficult fix.

Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.

I generally click the icons at the bottom of the screen.
