Trading 10/5 Guys

I know we can not trade 10/5 guys but today i got an offer from the White Soxs to trade Paul Konerko. If the computer can get the guys to waive it we should to.

I was actually just wondering about this myself. I haven't seen offers from the computer as such, but do 10/5 guys ever choose to waive their no-trade restriction? It happens in real life. If they're disgruntled, I could imagine them looking for a new home.

I've not tried it personally because I find it to be a form of cheating (and mismanagement!), but according to other threads here on the forum if you get the player Angry or worse, he'll waive it.

So, for example, send him to the minors.

I got a 10/5 guy in my fictional league to retire (saving 25m in salary!) by sending him to the minors early in the season. Worth a try if you're up against it.
