Barry Larkin 2004 ROTY EBL?!?

i traded for Barry Larkin from MLB to my EBL league after 2003...my EBL is setup as a major league, so why is Larkin a rookie? while i dont mind overall, it throws of my plans when i bring other MLB stars over in the future.

It would be the same if a Japanese player came over to the U.S..

i was hoping that wasnt gonna be the case but i guess its cool, since my league is a fictional historical, i have the best player ever to play the game come over in 2015 after 10 sns in MLB and he bounces back and forth over his remaining 12 sns. i just want to see him make MLB HOF. but i guess this wil provide a new aspect that i didnt know of when i created this league in the 80's/90's.

It's the reason why the NHL changed its rule for the rookie of the year eligibility the season after Sergei Makarov win it years ago (he was over 30 if I remember well and wasn't really a rookie with all his professional experience with the russian national team).
