Question about managing

I have only played a few models of OOTP 11 and am not familiar with managerial options that previous models may have had. I am currently playing OOTP 11 and would like to be a manager at the major league level. Is this possible?

I know I can manage games, but I want to be exclusively the manager and not the general manager. Does anyone know if this is possible or how I could do this.

I think it would be really cool to leave all the roster moves up to the general manager and strictly be the manager. Is there a way to do this or closely approximate this?

yeah, you can. You can choose what team you want to coach upon team creation. While you CAN just simply be a manager, you can also leave it up to the AI to do all of your roster moves for you as well if you are a GM. You can also set it so you can never be fired.
