OOTP12 Wishlist: More Detailed Managerial/Personnel Records

I have already made this suggestion a couple of times on these boards, and I suppose that I will continue to make the same pitch again each year until they revamp this aspect of the game. I will quote from a previous post here:

At the top of my wish list for OOTP is more detailed managerial/personnel records. I want to know the details of a coach's history when I hire him. If I am hiring a pitching coach, for example, I want to know some basic information like where he has coached before. I also want to know the pitching statistics for the teams that he has previously managed, at what levels he has coached, if his teams were winners or losers, and if he has been a part of any championship teams. I think that these sorts of details would make the personnel aspect of the game much more dynamic and engrossing.

As always, thanks to the OOTP team for taking customer feedback/suggestions

This would be a great addition, I've asked for this in the past as well. Certainly would add to the immerision level, if there were fictional managers for each league, and they were hired/fired, etc.

To add to this I wish Team History Indexs would have registers for managers (and coaches and GMs). It drives me nuts how many steps it takes to figure out who managed any team a certain year.

Agreed big fan of this suggestion. Definitely think it would be a helpful addition even if it's just as simple as the data we have for our GM records.

I would also suggest (for online leagues) being able to keep the history of human managers once they are retired and deleted from the owner screen.

As it is now, if you delete them, they're gone. If you keep them, you end up with a huge list of managers.

I'm sure Markus forgot to add something onto his Good Idead response. I think he tried to say good idea for OOTP 12

Something that would be nice to is for scouts to be linked to players that they had discovered. It would be nice to be able to see the drafts that scouts had conducted to but that is a bigger addition.

Maybe something else would be a record of injuries for Doctors. Something where it says how many players had injuries for x amount of time.

The hitting and pitching coach ones are the ones I would want first but something for scouts and doctors would be nice to have eventually.

I have often wished that there were a way to see where a coach, scout, GM, trainer has been in their career. Just a year and team would be fine.

Has this ever been mentioned or is it planned for the next release?

Do any former testers know if this is information that may already be stored but not displayed anywhere?

This would be awesome. It would also be cool if a coaches playing histroy was tied to their coaching profile. Right now they are two different things. All the info is in the game, why not have it one place.

If anything, it would add a little more immersion to the coaching aspect. I know I would use coaching more if I felt there was more depth to it.

Having personel ratings and coaching history tabs added to the existing playerscreen would be a nice improvement too.

Also, the auto turn player to coach feature needs a lot of work. As it stands, everyone becomes an awful bench coach. I sort of like editing each player-turned-coach but it can become tedious.

I'm not a tester, but looking at the SQL dumps from OOTP 11, I can't find where it is stored. That said, OOTP may not dump all of the tables it actually uses in-game (I can think of a few things in-game which don't appear to be in the SQL dumps).
