Opening Day Roster Problem

I picked OOTP 11 recently and I'm enjoying it. I've set up a 16 team fictional season. I've gone through the draft and spring training and now it's Opening Day! There's one small problem. About half the teams (all controlled by the AI) have 26 or 27 players on their roster and I get error messages when trying to play any game. The only one I see to fix the problem is to temporarily take over all the teams and send a few players down to AAA ball (No, I won't send their 4 and 5 star players, I'll be fair). However, the program tells me I'll be firing the computer manager and I don't want to do that, even if I'll reenable them later. Is there another way around this issue?

Also, while I'm asking questions, my Rookie League team has 4 position players (2 outfielders and 2 catchers) and 22 pitchers. Will not having enough position players cause a problem?

Next year, I'm doing the entire draft myself, even if it takes me a month. I turned it over to my scout after the 20th round and I don't think I got any potentially good players after that point. My farm system is beyond terrible. And I had a scout with fairly good ratings.

Hmm try this
go into each team's roster that u do not control and hit the action botton and have the AI set up each team. You can also act as, make sure u return back yo your team when u r done, but try option #1 1st I have never had teh problem u have. screenshot below.

most Rookie league teams will always be like that I am 7 sns in my ABF league and I still only have 9 players on offense and 26 pitchers. I have 4 levels of minors.
Sometimes even good Scouts get it wrong I had myself listed as Scout outstanding on all accounts for my 2010 league and when i drafted in 2011 all my A and R league players sucked for awhile...is it their current ratings that suck or their potential...also unlike IRL where teams r made through the middle rounds. OOTP tends to be like NBA where your 1st pick is always going to be your best 9 times out of 10.

Thanks for your help. I discovered that I hadn't checked commissioner mode under my manager options so I wasn't seeing the menu option to ask the AI to set up their organization, lineups, etc. Once I did that I was able to resolve the problem.
