Settings for historical accuracy
Is there a setting I should have on somewhere that allows historically imported rookies to play as close to real life as possible? Or is it just a crap shoot and some years they perform better then others? I guess what I'm trying to get at is, in my world league, I have guys like Mantle and Mays riding the bench each season barely hitting .220 who are being outplayed by other guys whom I've never even heard of.

i could be wrong but sounds like u have something askew.
i am only in 1899 of my historical league which i havent even touched in 4 weeks, but Honus Wagner, Wee Willie Keeler, Big Ed Delahnty, & Hugh Duffy r all on my White Sox and they all r pretty close to real life as r my 3 HOF ers. Ross Barnes, Cap Anson and Bobby Matthews. The only player who isnt as close to RL is Cy Young also on my Sox but he has been injured off and on for the last 4 sns. and although he will probably pitch for 5-7 more yrs i dont see him winning more then 250. my 1871-2010 settings are below 98% r defaults other then retiring missing sns and ratings weight. |
