Question OOTPv5 for Mac?

It's nearing time for a new computer and I'm interested if OOTPv5 will be Mac compatible? Thanks for any info in advance.

It would be great to have a mac version.

Keep me from having to sneak around at work in order to submit a lineup....

I use a MAC at work, and I have a MAC at home, but I use the Windows for normal use like the Internet, play games and such. It would be awesome, if OOTP5 was MAC capatible, let alone a MAC version of OOTP5. I think many programmers or video game companies don't relize that there are millions of MAC gamers around the world, simply waiting for a game such as the Madden series to become MAC supportable (note, i'm not todally sure if Madden is MAC friendly or not, but you get my drift)...

Just my two cents, I know, no one gives a care...

I would doubt that OOTP would become Mac combatible anytime soon. Its just a shame that V4 didnt work with Virtual PC. Hopefully for you Mac users, V5 will be. I think that is the best you could hope for.

I believe the problem with OOTP4 and Virtual PC is related to the Eliscence Software.. this would explain the reason why the non-Eliscenced wrapped demo will run on Virtual PC, but the Eliscenced wrapped full game won't.

For me, the e liscence makes it impossible to run OOTP4 using VirtualPC for the Mac. Season Ticket Baseball works fine so you can still play essentially the same thing as OOTP4 on a Mac.

A Mac version of OOTP5 would be very welcomed. Pretty please.

Latest figures show there are as many Linux users as Mac users these days....

And, of course MacOSX is based on one of the BSDs
