Question about importing to next version

Hellohihey,

I picked up OOTP 11 about a month ago and I'm completely addicted. I see that there's a feature to import an OOTP 10 game.

So in the past, when you import your franchise from one game to the next, it works in the new version with all the new stat categories added?

If so, that's a pretty amazing feature. I just wanted to make sure I understand how this works before I pre-order OOTP 12.

Yes, every version so far has included the ability to import leagues from the previous version. New stats will be applied to the league going forward, but may not be retroactively calculated. For instance, ZR and OPS+ and ERA+ were new for OOTP 11. If you imported a league from OOTP X, the previous seasons would not have these stats calculated, but would start calculating them now after the import.
