Trying Demo???

Just downloaded the demo. I can't start a fight. What am I missing?I go with options and there is no option to start a match.There were 3 error messages when it tried to" update data pool"?Using XP. I have directx installed.

On the screen that has the options tab you should be seeing five gray tabs with red letters.
These tabs are Start Fight, Tournament, Fight Card, Head to Head, Scheduler

These are the tabs you need to use to start fights. The options is only used to set up various parameters for your database universe governing things like aging.

The update from pool tab located directly below the options tab is used for the second step of the database update process. It will only work if you selected the update data base on the previous game screen

Try closing the game and reopening. When you reopen, try to create a new universe. This will let you reload the database into a universe that hopefully willwork.

Should this not work send Anreas a PM. You may need to reload the demo.

Having played title fight 2001 for 10+ years,I can say I am enjoying the game.I will be purchasing soon.
One question. I've staged a few fights and saved results but where can I see who my fighters have fought. I've found his stats but not opponents. Does this feature(history?) come when you buy.
Antuofermo knocks out Ketchel in 7.Great action fight, Ketchel was ahead on the score cards but was also knocked down in the 1st.

Not sure if I'm reading your question correctly. If you click on a particular fighter's name and bring up his screen page, all you need to do is hit the "History" tab and you'll see his opponents along with the results. On that page there's an "Open bout log" tab all the way to your left which will allow you to read all the action for each round of the fight.

Insofar as you're using a demo version, I'm not certain that you have access to these options. Nevertheless, they're part of the game once you purchase it.

That is correct. The history tab is unavailabe (I can see it but can't use it).So when I purchase,it will work.
