Hall of Fame requirements adjusted for shorter seasons?

Does OOTP automatically adjust the requirements for the Hall of Fame for leagues with shorter seasons, such as 40 games or so? Or do I manually have to adjust the values?

Thanks to anybody who can help.

You have to do it manually. The default OOTP values are what you would expect to see in a modern MLB league (3000 H, 500 HR, etc...). These can be changed at any time in your league setup area.

What you should do is set the numbers to something unreachable - i.e. 5000 hits, 1000 HR. That way, NO ONE gets in automatically and you have to manually induct.

If you want - head to the Mods section and download Lighthousekeeper's Companion that helps determine legitimate HOF candidates. (Yes, even though it says OOTPX it works for OOTP11.)

I play a 94 game season and I wouldn't have it any other way than how I handle the HOF right now. Manual is always the best.

You can also set everything to zero and nobody will get elected automatically.

Ya, I found that out a few years ago. I do it everytime now when setting up a league, just put all zero's and do my own elections.
