NYBA - Fictional template quickstart
NYBA - Version 4.0 - 8/25/2010 - see below for quick start file (on mediafire)
Major change to the schedule - straight from my idea here in this thread - http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...make-work.html In this league (if you wanted to), you can play with a friend online. One (commish) takes one league and another person (commish) takes the other. Pretty much, you battle it out against one another by league. We've put some house rules in place and it's been fun so far. All the teams in one league play a 4 game series in 3 days (with the 3rd day being a doubleheader), then the other league plays a 4 game series in 3 days and so on and so forth. 158 game schedule with (8*4) 32 games interleague and (18*7) 126 divisional games. One person import and export the file and the other person import and exports the file. Big (Big!) thanks to Bill (TribeFanInNC) for helping me with the new schedule. Changed the whole league now to 4-man rotations (b/c of the schedule). NYBA - Version 3.17 - 03/17/2010 - see below for quick start file Added logo. Thanks davwms! Tweaked Stamina modifiers. Noticing alot of stud relievers in output (winning the best pitcher award too often), trying to tone it down a touch. NYBA - Version 3.11 - 03/13/2010 - see below for the quick start file 16 team major league, 2 conferences, 1 division in each - 8 teams in each 16 team AAA league, 2 conferences, 2 division in each - 4 teams in each Tweaked alot of modifiers and tweaked the structure/schedule/playoffs. Load the quick-start Create fictional players in both the majors and AAA. Run Computer Manager and set AI to allow roster changes in both the majors and AAA. Assign fictional finances to teams Make fictional Contracts Then SIM/play If you are going to sim multiple seasons, do it one at a time, as I have a custom award in there for relievers so you can award it properly, or just delete the award. Enjoy. Hope you like it. NYBA - Version 3.0 - New York Baseball Association - see below for the quick start file. 16 team major league, 2 conferences (north NY and south NY), 2 divisions in each. 16 team AAA league, 2 conferences, 2 divisions in each. Custom (cephasjames) logos, matching colors and properly named ballparks (no ballpark pictures yet) Custom schedule. Set my LCMs and LTMs to default. Ballparks are still set to be pro-pitching http://www.mediafire.com/ramzavail Last edited by Ramzavail; 08-26-2010 at 12:38 AM. |

Ok. Found this thread.
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ow-levels.html After running another test, it seems to have fixed the fielding issue. Stats are more aligned. A few whacky individual accomplishments, like a guy hitting 80 HRs twice and have over 200 RBIs twice. But after that nobody had hit more than 58 and 174 RBIs. So maybe it was a fluke. More testing. Haven't tried to re-save another quick start. |

Can I ask why the PCM's are set as they are?

To get 2008 stats, all you have to do is set everything (PCM's and LTM's) to 1.000..........
And change your ballpark modifiers... They are ALL set to be massive pitcher's parks for some reason.... Change them so that the individual modifiers all add up to average 1.000 and you're set..... Why make everything so complicated with setting PCMs and LTMs and ballpark modifiers to extraordinary numbers? Last edited by Questdog; 08-05-2009 at 01:59 PM. Reason: added info |

Well, I was fiddling. However, if my ballparks are so pro-pitching why am I getting so many wild batting stats?
Anyways, I will set it all to 1.000 The league totals, I got from Skydog and his NABA set up. Should I change those? |

Change them to be 2008 league totals or the default you get when you create a new league (which shuold be 2008 totals)... |

Version 3.0 is up now.
Ok well I've set all the LCMs and LTMs to default settings (which aren't all 1.000 btw, Questdog) I left the ballparks to be pro-pitching, and I'm still getting alot more offense than I want, but it's better. Not perfect to my liking, but it's definitely playable. If anybody wants to create a NYBA logo, that would be cool. I'll keep trying to tweak but as of right now, I think I'm going to start a deep single player mode now and see where that goes. |

I guess when I'm thinking about this more and what my initial idea for this league was, I wanted this to be a type of "independent league" like the one they have in NY.
Where stats/talent ratings, are alot lower than norms in the MLB, salaries be alot lower and etc. but I don't know if thats possible in this game, I'm sure it would take alot of fiddling. |

I'm going to fiddle with this more to get stats be "independent league" like. Or for like low end offensive MLB seasons like 68, 76, 88 etc
