NIBA: Entering 2013 Season, Six Teams Opening
Hey guys! We cleared out some inactive owners from our league -- we are looking to fill four teams heading into the 2013 season. I think you'll enjoy the league, very active ownerbase, tons of extras in the league, league articles, very, very competitive. Check it out!
Full League Name (Initials): NIBA Main URL: NIBA Reports URL: BNN Home Page Boards URL: NIBA Homepage - Login Commissioner(s) OOTP Forum Username(s): CubbyFan23 Email Address: NIBACommissioner@gmail.com OOTP Version: OOTP11 Game Needed: Required Players: Modern # of Teams: 30 Export Deadlines Days And Times: Tue-Thu-Sun, 8 PM CT League Time Per Sim: 7 days First Season: 2009 Latest Season: 2013 Special Rules & Settings: Incorporates International Players, some real draftees, NCAA/High School feeder leagues. Currently Available Teams: Houston Astros, San Francisco Giants Houston Astros are built around speed and defense, and led by staff ace Adam Wainwright. Gold Glovers at almost every position including Andrew McCutchen in centerfield, Hunter Pence in right and Mike Napoli at catcher. Nice farm system with some high upside prospects. LA Angels are another solid lineup, with Lastings Milledge leading the attack. A ton of depth on this team from top to bottom and some high end pitching prospects making their ML debuts this year. Team was drafted and signed international prospects very well. San Francisco Giants are a team in flux - the best for anyone looking for a challenge and a way to build your own team. A ton of money to spend but some very good talent at the major league level. They have some of our best hitting prospects in the league. Last edited by CubbyFan23; 08-06-2010 at 05:23 PM. |

Great core of competitive GMs. Some really good teams out there with all kinds of different ways to have fun. Commish has real international players declare for free agency which is great. Real players get squeezed in to the draft as well. Lots of fun additions.

Super competitive league with one of the most imaginative commissioners around - all of the available teams have either a very strong farm system or solid ML roster.

I love this league! The international free agents and younger players keep things fresh and somewhat realistic even heading into 2013. There are some really heated divisions (like the NL East where I play as the Braves) and a core of great owners. If you take over the Nationals you'd be in for a challenge, but it'd be a great time with some awesome owners in your division.

I'm a longtime OOTP solo player and I'd like to try playing in an online league. After looking at the available teams on the league website, I'd like to take the Cubs.

I sent a request yesterday thru the website. My first choices would be the Detroit Tigers followed by Los Angeles Angels

Three teams open still!
Houston Astros are built around speed and defense, and led by staff ace Adam Wainwright. Last edited by CubbyFan23; 07-19-2010 at 07:01 PM. |
