New League - Current MLB Rosters

We are a new league with current MLB rosters as of July, 1 2010.

The name of the league is the Paramount Baseball League.

We have been going for about 2 weeks now and have done some trading, but have not yet started the season. The following teams are currently open

arizona
cleveland
kansas city
la dodgers
san diego
san francisco

All interested owners can contact me at soxdude1954@aol.com, please use this if you are interested in obtaining a team. We have some excellent owners and want to round out the league with a few more. If you have any questions please ask in the email. More info is below.

* Set up game settings:
- disabled 'Complete scouting system'
- disabled 'Complete coaching system'
- injury frequency stays same 'Normal (OOTP Classic)
- rating scales adjusted to the '1-10' scale with cut off on ratings
- kept all player aging and developing speed the same
- will show and use player personalities and morale system

* League rules settings:
- 25 man roster with no foreign player limit
- roster expands to 40-man on September 1
- Minimum days of service = 172
- waiver period length = 1
- designated for assignment period length = 10 days
- minor league option years enabled
- players CAN refuse minor league assignment
- disabled List has been changed to 14 days in order to only miss 2 sims
- disabled the allowing of trading recently drafted players (more on this in trade details)
- disabled the allowing of traded draft picks

* Financial rules:
- average attendance is 30,455 which is games default
- average ticket price is $20.00
- visiting team gate share is 20%
- the financial system is enabled with minimum service for free agency set to 6 years
- free agents from other leagues are allowed to enter the PBL and free agents from the PBL are allowed to leave the league
- there will be draft pick compensation for lost free agents
- 3 years service time required for abitration
- minimum sevice time for minor leagues is 6 years
- average media contract is $30,000,000 league default
- media contract is not fixed, it is based on team market size as default option
- owners will decide the teams budget
- there is a luxury tax for revenue sharing
- soft cap (% of average payroll) is 120 as default
- cash maximum $5,000,000

Web site is a day or 2 away from completed, sorry. Active forum, just not ready on the web site yet. But it will be a well maintained and up to date one when finished.
