Need help creating my universe
Hey Guys,
New to OOTP – got OOTP11 on release day and I need some help finally creating my own universe. I have been messing around with some quick-starts, but only getting through a couple games. This is what I am looking for in my league - a 16 team league - 2 sub leagues with 2 divisions in each. My plan is to start the inaugural season with all fictional players and then after the first season manually select historical players to import into the next season’s amateur draft. I already know how to do the above, it is the next part I can not figure out. I remember in the dynasty forum reading NYY #23 short dynasty where he did this. He began the first year using real minor league players with no major league experience such as Heyward, Castro, Strasburg, and Montero and each successive season he imported historical players. I would like to do something like this but can not figure it out. I have Spritze’s database downloaded, but I do not believe guys like Montero, Strasburg, Alvarez, etc are included. If they are and I am missing it that would be great and so much easier, but I do not think they are included. My next thought was to start an MLB 2010 Quick Start and then delete all the leagues except for AAA and of course the majors, but I do not know how to remove all guys with MLB experience without doing it individually which would take forever. I hope someone can tell me what I need to do to create a universe like this. 16 Teams Inaugural Season begins with fictional and minor leaguers with no MLB experience like Strasburg and Heyward. Most important is to start with real minor leaguers with no MLB experience. Like I said if Spritze’s database has or if Gambo’s will can contain these guys and I am able to individually import them into a fictional league I know exactly how to do this. Thanks alot |
