Fun solo games

Just started playing this glorious game, and so far all I've really done is create a fictional league and randomly select a team to manage.. what are some other fun game modes you guys play in solo mode?

I like to play 'stranger mode'. I sit on my hand until it's asleep and then I trade away all my good players to big market teams.

After that I drink a fifth of Jack and quit my job, join an independent women's baseball league and yell at them for crying.

When I get fired from there end up coaching a youth league even though I don't have any children on the team. I turn my group of bad news brats into a bunch of winners as we win the Little League World Series, of course six months later the title is taken away due to the random drug testing detecting PED's.

Lastly, I increase the trade difficulty, create college and high school feeder leagues while turning off trading with other major league. I like to keep my game as realistic as possible

Hobbit leagues. I manage the Bywater Bandits. The Michel Delving Dirtdogs are our arch-rivals.

If you're playing pre-1947 American baseball, then the All-American Mod (a namefiles/ethnicites/nation/cities file pack) is for you.

With the flames of Nationalism blazing because of the World Cup, I had to create a World League. Western Hemisphere vs. Eastern Hemisphere.

There are so many things you could do with this game your imagination is the only barrier. I have created probably around 100 fictional teams and 5 or 6 leagues. My favorite league was a North American promotion/relegation league...only problem was that Canada dominated.

My advice get wacky be creative.

Sigh. This board sure isn't what it used to be.

That's for sure. When you of all people mentions a Hobbit league, even jokingly, the earth must be tilting slightly off its axis.

I understand that watching your games is hobbit-forming.
