moving a franchise?
i have a Fictional League all set up. After 25 seasons of play the team in Boston is doing very poor in attendance. This has been happening for about 15 seasons now. I cheated and fixed their fan support and interest numbers to help the club out. I also changed the owner's name and personality a bit giving the illusion of a new owner. Attendance started out much better than got really good but after 5 seasons the attendance went back to being poor.
Now I am going to moving the team to Baltimore. I know I can easily change the team name and city. I was thinking about removing the Boston team and starting fresh with the Baltimore team. This way all the new stats will reflect the Baltimore club instead of the franshise as a whole. I want the Boston players to be in Baltimore. My question is what would this look like in the game? Would I basically mess everything up by doing this? Would I lose all the stats about the old Boston club? Would it be too much of a hassle to get the players in the new Baltimore team? |

The Boston club would still be in your History/teams and all the stats will still be there. For your other question just put all the players in the minors and then affiliate the minor league teams to the new team and all the players will be on your new team.
