logo alteration

Hey Guys,

I know, I know, this is not a baseball logo per say but my wife has a kid from Veracruz in her Spanish class and wanted to make him something using the team's soccer logo as a thank you to him for helping her with a book she wrote for a grad class assignment. Anyways, all I need done with this logo is a clean up a bit and get rid of the watermark behind the main logo and to make it a standalone. So, if anyone out there can do this my wife and I would be greatly appreciative.

yea, we saw a similar one but my wife really likes the stars...go figure. So maybe someone could alter the first one still or add the stars to the second one.

Re: the stars - if it works in Mexican soccer as in European, those might represent championships, so research might be required to check how many stars it should be.
