The 1962 World Series proved to be a truly memorable one with the Milwaukee Braves triumphing over the Baltimore Orioles in a tense pitchers duel in Game 7 - all the proof we needed that, although light on bells and whistles, this league is still among the best at providing a competitive environment for the true baseball fan.
