Team/league logos are cut...

Is it done purposely that on team and league pages the logos are cut off at the top and bottom? Basically only 1/2 of the logos are visible.

This was brought up earlier. Apparently it's a design decision, one that isn't universally approved of.

I absolutely hate it. Whoever made that decision shouldn't be allowed to make any more design decisions.

Give us the whole logo, OOTP!!!!!!!

It's not THAT bad. How much time do you spend starring at the logo anyways? It's not as if that is the only place you can see the logo anyway.

What's the point of going through the effort of hunting down FULL logos and adding them to teams if on the main page they are lopped? Most other places the logos are so small you can barely see them. It just looks sloppy.

It took ALOT of work to go out and find logos for all the teams in my world. I don't use the game created ones.

Go to any real life sports team home page and see if their logos are lopped. I bet they aren't.

And I didn't even count all the websites where the logos were tiny that as you put it "other places the logos are so small you can barely see them". In particular all the MLB teams, that all seem to very similar websites.

If in OOTP 12 Marcus changed the skin so that the 150x150 logos were displayed in full, then we would have people coming on here and moaning that the header is too large, and takes up far too much room.

I understand it's your opinion and you are entitled to it and all, but the BNN website shows the logos in full, and you spend a fair amount of time on those screens anyway, on top the fact you have full logos in the PbP, so I really don't see the point in having ANOTHER full size image in the main game.

Funny. I don't remember anyone complaining previously when the full logos could be seen.

Anyway, it's pointless to have logos when they can't be seen, or at least pointless to us any that aren't created by the game.

Man those sites look like crap. Very amateur looking.

Yes my opinion is the new format for the skins in general sucks. However, I'd rather see the logo removed completely from the name line then to sit there clipped as it is.

However, all that really matters is that you're satisfied so I'll just live with the crappy look.

Funny. I don't remember any previous OOTP showing full 150 by 150 logos. They were always compressed in size to fit into the little header.

The size they are now, although maybe cropped allow you to see the logo in greater detail, as opposed to squinting at the screen to see the full thing in a third of the size.

Maybe we should do away with 3 leter abbreviations too, then we could have the next OOTP reminiscent of that Being John Malkovich scene.

Uh, yeah, right. Anyway, I'm with Styx and K.T. While it's hardly a major issue to me, I liked it better when the full logo was displayed.

I personally like the new look. You can still see the full logo on BNN pages and other places. So it seems kind of silly to say there is no point for logos anymore because they are now cropped on the team page. here are a couple other pages I found who use a similar format. Espn used to as well.

Looks fine to me too. My fervent hope for OOTP 12 is that our biggest complaint is the logo placement and design.

I know some complained last year that the logos on the standings screen should be removed because resizing them to make them fit took away detail.
My point is every year someone isn't going to like something about the design, big deal.

To me, as long as OOTP developments doesn't change the default size of the logos from year to year forcing us to find\make new ones I'm good to go. It is all such a non-issue.

Now if they do change the default size then I'll never buy the game again! Just kidding. I will wonder why, and then go find the new default size and continue my game.

I don't normally post a "me too", but I just hate those lopped off logos. I understand we all have different ideas of what looks good and what doesn't, but for some logos, having the top or bottom part being lost just ruins them.
