"new 2010 major league game"

at the ootpb main menu, is this the ONLY way to get the real rosters, will reall minor leaguers? cant use these rosters in custom set up games?

also is it not possible to play historical season with real minor leagues?

Not sure on the first part but the only way to get reasonably accurate minor league players is to use a database that includes them. The default (Lahamn) DB only includes players that appeared in the ML and intorduces them when they made their ML debut, for the most part eliminating the need for all but maybe AAA. If you use a DB like Sprtize's, which includes a ton of players that the Lahman does not and introduces them at age 18, then you have a need for full minors and a larger group of players with which to fill those.

if by default you mean the rosters that come with the game, this is not true. when you select "new 2010 major league game" from the main menu, it comes with real rosters with deep real minors. however i cant figure out how to get this roster with a custom set up?

You probably could, but it would require a whole bunch of steps, starting with exporting the roster, and then importing it into a custom league. At least, I think that would work.

i tried creating the default game, exporting the rosters to txt file, then i copied the export, and pasted it in the "import-export" folder of custom league, then imported it inside the custom game. the import worked, but the rosters did not come out right. each team had about 5 players randomly, and the minors were completely blank, so it did not work. is this what you meant?

meh, never mind. the only thing i wanted to do custom, was add world leagues, thought you could only do that at league game creation. i now see you can add leagues anytime.
