absurdly low stats in my A Ball League
I am a long time OOTP player who switched from 6.5 to OOTP 10 in the fall of last year. I enjoy OOTP 10, but I am getting absurdly poor stats in A Ball for both my own human controlled team and all of the computer controlled teams. It really detracts from the game. I searched the forums and could not find a thread on this topic. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix this situation? The stats seem to become more normal when a player goes to AA or AAA. There must be a setting that would cause this. Thanks.

I noticed this too. My 1971 season saw the league champion team hit one home run all season and allowed none. Other Class A teams also produced similar HR totals for the season.
Double-A, Triple-A and big leagues were normal. |

The problem you are having depends a lot of where you are in your league. If you are still in the first season, there hasn't been an opportunity for the League Total Modifiers to be recalc'd. If the LTMs are still all at 1.000, you can get extreme results at different league levels. If you are past that point, you can still get unrealistic results for some low-level leagues because the LTM calculation process doesn't work as well for them. If you haven't tried the "automatically control in-game engine to match league totals ..." option on the League Setup Strategy page for that minor league, you should. Some people say it helps and others aren't so sure. But it's worth a try.

Low minor league stats
Yes, I already had that option checked. All of the various modifiers are at 1.00. My A Ball league is the only one with these absurd stats. I just finished year two and the problem persists. Interestingly, if I leave a player in A ball for a second year, his stats look normal, so it only seems to affect A Ball players in their first year. Is this likely to straighten out over time or do you have a different recommendation?
