OPS and VORP
Hey guys, just got a question about the OPS and VORP in OOTP11. Will the formulas stay the same as it was in OOTP10 or will you guys change it to the formula they use in Baseball-ref and other baseball sites? I'm not sure why I think this, but I heard last year that you guys had your own formula so I'm just wondering if the stats will be similar to those of other baseball sites. Thanks.

VORP is the same formula as BP uses. OPS is standard, it's OBP+SLG... I think you're referring to OPS+, OOTP 11 will use a slightly different formula there because the game does not store past park factors and the OPS+ used at baseball-ref utilizes park factors.

Why not just have the game store past park factors instead and use the correct formula?
