XML Issues.

So I have been doing XML work. And I had done 36 XML files done with no problems at all. Then the Texas Rangers were up next. Did everything i did of the other 35 files. Although i did update the XMLs to include socks. And I get the error shown. Was wondering if someone could look through the XML and figure out what it means because I don't know.

Can you upload one that works for comparison? I know almost nothing of XML, but have a sharp eye.

I hope you don't mind a lurker jumping in to this thread, but according to XML Notepad, line 49 is your problem.
In regular words, the Friday Home uniform didn't have a </UNIFORM> ending.

Ty mentioned that one of the lines mentioning socks, line 54 (line 55 if you've added the </UNIFORM> tag) didn't have a /> at the end of it. XML Notepad noticed that too. (Somehow, it appeared to work in OOTP without me doing that...unless I accidentally did so.) Once I added the ending, it appeared to work on my end, though admittedly I haven't tried it in OOTP yet. (I know it works as an XML file because my program doesn't work with malformed XMLs.)
Hopefully, we can help you get this solved.

This is the updated file. Did all the fixes mentioned so far. Nothing has worked.

The Alternate Blue uniform (not Alternate Blue 2) doesn't have a </UNIFORM> tag either. Maybe I spoke too soon about my program only working on proper XMLs...it should've caught that. Regardless, that's what it's telling me now.

Thanks for the comparison XML, by the way. That really helps me out. Though I do apologize for trying to help you fix this in a piecemeal sort of manner.

Since I literally know knowing about XML, I asked ChatGPT to find the error. This is what it said. It's Greek to me.

OMG give chat GP a raise. I have a new problem now. The XML isn't putting the socks into the game. It's recognizing other stuff in my XML. Just not my socks

Here is what I mean. I have included the socks for the home team. They are supposed to be plain red. But as you can see in the screenshot it isn't red. IDK what's going on but I really really really dont want to spend 2 days adding socks to all 40 (i expanded to 40) teams in my 10 saves. Any further help would be greatly appreciated (shoutout to chat GP for coming in clutch)

As I said, it's literally something I no first-hand experience with but I asked ChatGPT anyway. This is what it came back with:

Looking at the preview post, the first part of the response is on the left, then the right side of my monitor, and then the Recommended Check List at the bottom was the third part of the screenshots I posted. On a smaller monitor it probably reads normally, top down.
