Removing a player from waivers after a failed waiver trade

Newb question - here's the scenario:

I tried a waiver trade, but the player on my end was claimed (so the trade didn't go through).

I had thought I would have a chance to remove my player from waivers if he was claimed, and in fact the Office of the Commissioner informed me that "[t]oday is the last chance to remove him from waivers and avoid losing him."

My problem is I can't figure out how to "remove him from waivers." There's no way of removing him from waivers in his drop-down menu, and he is no longer listed on the waiver wire...

Do I just not understand the process, or is there some way to remove him from waivers? Any help would be fantastical...

On the team transactions page, drag and drop the player anywhere down along the bottom of the page. That is how to remove him from waivers. Same as it has always been.
