Sending Signed FA's to the minors automatically

Are there any setting where a signed FA will be put in AAA automatically instead of the Majors?

The problem with it this way is that when i FA signs with a team in the middle of the sim he goes on their active roster and we have to stop the sim and go fix it.

The player should be going to the DFA. How many days do you have it set to in league setup?

Do note that if the free agent has no option years left, he cannot be sent to the minors if he is signed to a major league contract.

If you had signed him to a minor league contract, then you could assign him to any minor league club in your organization, but the player will not be on your 40-man roster in that case.
