Pasadena- Rose Bowl

I am headed down to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl this year. Does anyone live down in that area? I'd love to get some information on good places to eat and somewhere to plan for New Years Eve.

(If this needs to be moved to Off Topic that is fine.)

You could do worse than check out the Sunset Strip on New Years Eve. There are lots of clubs and upscale eateries. Old Town Pasadena is also a nice place.

In Los Angeles, don't dress like a typical Northwesterner. You won't be able to get into clubs and upscale eateries.

What does a "typical Northwesterner" dress like? Are you picturing a grungy type look?

I was wondering the same thing.

You guys dont wear cowboy hats and bell bottom pants in the Northwest do you? Maybe he thinks you are from Idaho or Wyoming.

Look for a place called "Red Lobster." Jax loves that place.

Out of the three, I own sweat pants. I'll leave those behind.
