Updated Stats

I assume that there will be a patch at some point that will give us the updated 2009 stats? When/if that happens... if I have a player that is doing really well in my OOTP 10 season, but did not do so well in the actual MLB season... will that players stats take a nose dive? For instance... Jay Bruce is on my OOTP 10 team and is doing MUCH better than he did last year in the MLB season. When the stats are updated, will he all of the sudden turn into the struggling player of 2009's MLB season? Thanks!

No....not normally.
(That may not come out until OOTP11)

The patches tend to be for operational fixes or new features ( that may have needed extra testing and missed the first release).

You may at some time find in Mod section of the forum a new roster set.
(bearing in mind that if you have set up a league and are playing it, any new roster set will not over-write that. The new roster set would only work if you then created a new MLB league)

Hope this helps

The Lahman database is not updated until sometime in mid January I think. I'm not sure there's a readily accessible source of information in game format till then for the just finished season. And by then they are hopefully preparing the release of OOTP 11 for opening day.

Retrolist

I use the RETROLIST for most of my historical data,it includes boxscores for many years (lineups are especially useful)
Hope this helps
